This month’s international inspiration for kids’ outfits and accessories comes from Sweden, just in time for the beloved Swedish holiday, Midsummer. Midsummer is celebrated between June 19 and June 25 each year, and June 21 this year – always on a Friday in Sweden to leave plenty of time for a long weekend of traveling to the countryside and celebrating. It seems like such a dreamy holiday, known for flower crowns, maypoles, and strawberry cake! (More inspiration for your own Midsummer celebration to come!) Dress your babes in whites and adorn their little heads with flower crowns, their hands with ripe strawberries, and their little minds with fairy dreams.
Admittedly, this is a bit more of a girly theme, but who says little boys don’t look adorable in white with a fistful of flowers? I can picture the sweetest little photoshoot now… but in the spirit of Midsummer, you would still want to keep things a bit casual because they have to be able to run and play in the great outdoors too!
