Microfashion: Inspired by BALI

I know Bali isn’t a country, but I chose to do this month’s “Inspired by” post after the island because we visited Bali on our honeymoon, and I completely fell in love with the gorgeous bright colors and floral prints.  They seriously have the cutest kids clothes!  (I may or may not have picked up a few items for our future babies!)  There are a few Bali designers that I just adore and some of their pieces are featured in the collage below.  I would recommend clicking on the links below to go to their websites because they have SO many other precious items!  Enjoy…

I Scream, You Scream…

…We all scream for ICE CREAM!  Now that my husband and I are living in hot-as-Hades Texas, we’re going to need something to cool us off!  I made this video several years back with my brother when I was living in Dallas (and before I met Jamie).  We did a little tour of Dallas to taste some of the favorite frozen treats.  Since then, it’s crazy how many awesome ice cream places have opened up – there are seriously so many!  We visited Cauldron Ice Cream this week, whose specialty is the Puffle, ice cream in a sweet bubble waffle cone (more on Instagram stories and pics).  It was super tasty.  I may have to make another video sometime and include all these fun new places!

Our current list of frozen treats to go get this summer in Dallas include shaved ice with sweetened condensed milk and toppings from Snowbaby, Thai rolled ice cream at Chills 360, Brazilian hand-crafted popsicles at Picolé Pops, and sweet buns stuffed with ice cream and toppings at Milk • Cream.  What fun frozen treats are on your summer bucket list?
