I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! To conclude 2019, I created a collage of kids clothes that are inspired by Norway. As the Scandinavians would say, “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes.” These warm, cozy items are perfect for layering, and the colors and patterns are much too perky to let the winter gloom in. All pieces come from Norwegian designers.
- Copper Crossfront Bodysuit
- Fleece Hooded Jumpsuit
- Light Blue Bodysuit
- Rust Pom Pom Bloomers
- Oil Blue Corduroy Romper
- Lavender Dress
- Striped Henley Shirt
- Woodland Print Pants
- Teal Eskimo Jumpsuit
I’ve thought long and hard about whether to continue the monthly microfashion posts in 2020. It’s been so fun to explore the fashion of a country or culture and create these collages, imagining some kiddies in all of these adorable little pieces from around the world. In the end, though, I’ve decided to put more energy into some of the other topics that I had dreamed up for this blog. I’d love to dive deeper into cultural practices from around the world, more parenting topics, and more food! I still plan on posting microfashion posts, but it won’t be as frequently as it has been this year. If you have any thoughts or suggestions on what you’d like to read more on this blog, please feel free to comment and let me know. I’m looking forward to an exciting 2020 and wishing you all the best year yet!
P.S. To follow the Scandinavian theme, a whole post on hygge and some hygge-inspired items for your family!
