Oh, New York City. So many restaurants, so little time! On our last trip to NYC, we fell in love with Brooklyn’s hipster vibes, gorgeous views of Manhattan, and trendy restaurants like this one. Sunday in Brooklyn is light and airy by day and has a lovely rooftop garden, the perfect space for a weekend brunch of fresh juices, classic options like the Cheddar Scramble or the trademarked Sunday Pancakes (Hazelnut Maple Praline with Brown Butter… YUM!), or a spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich.
At night, the restaurant is warm and cozy, with its timber and exposed beams, brick walls, wood-burning ovens, and upstairs fireplace.
We adored the Fresh Papardelle with Wild Boar Ragu, Estrado, Cocoa, and Calabrian Chili, as well as the fun cocktails. It was so delicious!
The atmosphere really made this place stand out. After dinner, we took a lovely walk around Williamsburg to check out the neighborhood. It all felt so quaint and friendly, and Sunday in Brooklyn definitely had this local neighborhood feel that made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a good dinner or brunch spot in the Williamsburg area!
